<p class="MsoNormal">I am wondering when you publish a feature service to AGOL or a service to ArcServer to be used on AGOL what projection to you use?<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I was told by Eric E. to always use WGS_1984_Web_Mercator_Auxiliary_Sphere, for various reasons.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Well we had discovered an issue with this projection in using the measure tool in AGOL viewer. Call Esri, the Tech told me I need to us WGS_1984 geographic projection and not a project coordinate system projection, such as WGS_1984_Web_Mercator_Auxiliary_Sphere.
The fun (ha ha thing) is that the WGS_1984_Web_Mercator_Auxiliary_Sphere, was not giving us measuring problems a month ago. <o:p></o:p></p>
