Hi folks, as many of you may know, one of the roles of the GIS Program Leaders is to evaluate the Framework grant proposals each biennium. This same responsibility also falls to three other groups, the OGIC Technical Advisory Committee,
the OGIC Policy Advisory Committee, and the FIT Leads.

There are six proposals that were submitted. They have all received a preliminary review by the Reviewing Team to determine if they meet the minimum criteria for further evaluations. They all do.

The next step is for the members of the GPL to choose which proposals they would like to evaluate. No one needs to choose more than 2-3 proposals for evaluation. And there’s a rubric to follow to perform the evaluation, a spreadsheet
that will lead you through the evaluation following the criteria appropriate for the GPL. The link to choose which proposals you’d like to evaluate is below. Please make your selections prior to the close of business July 26. We will have all the proposals
and the evaluation rubric posted on the website by then. Remember that the proposals will be presented on July 26 from 9am-Noon. The presentations will be recorded and available on the website for later reference, as well.

Thanks very much for participating and helping to evaluate the proposals.
