<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The first is that the lead for this FIT, Ed Flick, has, unfortunately stepped down from the position. As such, I am seeking nominations for a new lead. Please send me your nominee’s
name, organization, contact info, and brief description of past work in the Hazards FIT and reasons why this person would make a good leader for the group, or if you’d like to provide your nominee anonymously, you are welcome to shuttle or mail the information
to me. Please keep in mind that my preference is to have some information about who is providing the nominee so that I can seek more information if necessary.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Secondly, you may have heard about the 2018 Framework Data Inventory and Assessment survey that opened on February 15 and was developed with the help of the FIT leads. There
are 18 data elements under the Hazards FIT that up for evaluation. (see attached spreadsheet)<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">I am seeking your help in completing the survey for the 18 data elements. The survey is designed to be filled out once for each data element. It takes 20 – 40 minutes to complete
the survey in most cases, but the actual time varies depending on the information you have at hand about each data element that you evaluate. The
