2010 Annual Meeting and Conference

The 2010 Annual Conference will be held October 18 and 19 in Corvallis.  Please mark your calendar and plan to attend! 

Planning for the conference will get underway in January.  If you would like to participate on the program committee, or have suggestions for the 2010 event, please contact Charlie Fautin. 


Public Health Week

While you have your calendar out, circle Thursday, April 8.  OPHA will be sponsoring a presentation by Jeff Levi, PhD, on that date as a part of our Public Health Week actitivities (details regarding time and location will be posted soon). 

Dr Levi is the executive director of Trust for America's Health and a nationally recognized expert on Public Health, Health Policy, and Health Reform.   For a preview of Dr Levi's thoughts on these important topics, check out the January 12 Hot Topics in Preparedness forum hosted by the Northwest Center for Public Health Practice.  


I'm looking forward to working with our new Board of Directors and OPHA members in 2010.  The ideas, energy and commitment of OPHA members are what make this organization work!
