Position Summary
Title: Child Nutrition Outreach Specialist
Status: Permanent, 20hrs a week, non-exempt
Starting Salary: $16-$18/hour DOE. Generous benefits package included.

The Child Nutrition Outreach Specialist is an integral member of a team carrying out the organization's Child Nutrition Outreach project ( http://oregonhunger.org/child-nutrition ). The goal of the project is to decrease childhood hunger in Oregon by improving utilization of the federally funded Summer Food Service Program and the Afterschool Meals and Snack Program. This position will assist in widening community awareness of and support for these programs, while also acting as a resource to organizations currently operating feeding sites.
