Health Education Policy, Research, and Practice*. The 63rd Annual
Conference promises to be the premier health promotion conference of the
year.

August 1, 2012

Each year SOPHE confers awards, fellowships and scholarships to faculty,
practitioners, chapters and students recognizing them for their
contributions to advancing the profession of health education and health
promotion. Awards are presented in 15 categories. Nominations and
applications for awards must be completed by August 1, 2012 for the
2012-2013 Award cycle.

*SOPHE's Campaign for the 21st Century: Building SOPHE*'s *Future* will
provide six scholarships of $500 each to undergraduate or graduate students
to attend the Annual Meeting.

The SOPHE 64th Annual Meeting will take place April 17-19,2013 in Orlando,
Florida. The theme for the 2013 meeting is, *The Magic of Health Education:
Vision, Imagination & Transformation.*  The meeting will take place at the
Hilton Walt Disney World Resort.

Stay tuned for preliminary program information and instructions on booking
hotels.  Plan to bring the family, as there is so much to explore in
Orlando.
