Our conference this year – themed *Transforming Healthcare:** Putting

Our focus is on defining the “next” goal, pushing the envelope to encompass
the breadth of policies that impact our health. Our day-long event will
include voices who typically aren’t together in one place.

We have invited *Governor Kitzhaber* to open the day by sharing his vision
for Oregon’s future, especially how Oregon’s efforts can improve the health
of Oregonians. We want to challenge our thinking – to expand our vision of
what can be accomplished, and to better our understanding of what stands in
our way – and end the day with some clear calls to action.

broadening our ideas for possible actions, and affirming that the world of
medicine alone will not improve health.
