[Health_Education_Promotion] Help us plan Public Health Week activities!

Hello Health Education & Promotion Section!



*2014’s Public Health Week is April 1-7th and OPHA plans to have a major
presence.*  *We are seeking ideas from our members and friends for
activities that our Section can host. These can address community education
or professional development.*



Engagement with the universities would be great, so this a fantastic
opportunity for students to step up their involvement with the organization!



APHA has designated the week’s theme as “Public Health is ROI: Saves Lives,
Saves Money”.  We don’t necessarily have to follow these, but the daily
themes for Monday-Friday are…..

   - Ensuring a Safe, Healthy Home for Your Family
   - Providing a Safe Environment for Children at School
   - Creating a Healthy Workplace
   - Protecting You While You're on the Move
   - Empowering a Healthy Community
