FYI - An opportunity to review grant applications for the competitive abstinence program.
There is some compensation for the time commitment - which is significant (5- 6 days).  For those of us lucky enough to be fully employed, this may not be an opportunity.  However, for those without full employment - this presents a good resume-building opportunity and some compensation.
It would be great if there were folks with a comprehensive view of youth sexual health on the review panel.

Hello Grantees,

The Family and Youth Services Bureau will conduct a grant review in early September for the Competitive Abstinence Education Program.   The funding opportunity announcement has been published and can be found at www.grants.gov<http://www.grants.gov>.  Attached to this email is a grant review recruitment flyer.  If you are interested in being a reviewer, please register at www.acfgrantreviewer.com<http://www.acfgrantreviewer.com> under reference code PREP-001-2013 or call 866-796-1613.  It is imperative that you fully complete the on-line registration in order to be considered.  Grant reviewers must dedicate a minimum of 8 hours a day to the review process and be responsive to assigned chairpersons.

All questions regarding the grant review and registration process should be directed to FYSB's contractor, Lux Consulting Group, Inc. at 866-796-1613.
