Join us on Tuesday, Dec 3rd, from 7-8:30pm for a FREE Information webinar
about Portland Community College's new IBLCE Pathway 2 Lactation Training
Program.

 During this webinar you will meet the Program Director and the Curriculum
Director, and you will learn more about:

-The latest information about the Pathway 2 requirements for becoming a
lactation consultant established by the International Board of Lactation
Consultant Examiners.  For more information about which pathway is best for
you, go to:  http://iblce.org/certify/pathways/

-The requirements and timeline for applying for the new PCC Pathway 2
program.

-The Pathway 2 program course schedule and clinical experience requirements.

-PCC Pathway 2 program costs and financial resources.

-The PCC classes that meet the new IBLCE General Education requirements.

To attend the Free Info Session Live Webinar on Tuesday, Dec 3rd, from
7-8:30pm, you just need a computer with audio, and an internet
connection.  Even
if you cannot attend this webinar live, we will be recording it, and making
that recorded session available to everyone on the mailing list.

Follow the directions and use the link below to participate in the
*live*webinar.  I will send out a link to the recorded session to you
the day
after the live session.

*Webinar Directions:*

I recommend that you enter the webinar at least 10 minutes before 7pm so
that you can check your audio setup before we get started.

1)  You will need JAVA loaded on your computer to participate in the
webinar.

To load JAVA, go to:  http://java.com/en/

2)  When the first dialog box appears, click *OPEN*.

3)  When the next dialog box appears, click *RUN*.  Then it will take a few
minutes for the classroom to open so relax and breathe.

4)  Once you are in the webinar classroom, click on the *Tools menu* in the
upper left corner of the classroom.  On the drop down menu, click on *Audio
Wizard*, and follow the directions to check your speakers and microphone
(if you have one).  If you do not have a microphone, you will still be able
to hear the webinar, and send in questions by using the Chat function in
the webinar classroom.  We will go over how to do this when we start the
webinar.
