Hello,

You are receiving this email because you attended a Health Impact
Assessment (HIA) training from the Oregon Public Health Institute in 2013
or because you manage a listserve that subscribers may find useful.  Please
share this training opportunity with colleagues who were unable to attend
or others who may be interested. Please forgive any cross-postings.


Upstream Public Health and the Oregon Public Health Institute are holding a
training on HIA this summer on June 24, 2014 in Salem, OR at the Keizer
Heritage Center.



The training is designed for practitioners and consultants who work in
planning, evaluation, assessment, and health promotion. This hands-on day
will review the basics of HIA practice from a broad perspective of how to
include public health considerations in various decision processes. A
limited number of scholarships are available in exchange for a volunteer
role in the training.
