> Submissions are open to all public health oriented photography. Suggestions include: global health, environmental health, nutrition, healthy communities, etc. Be creative! Photography should be editorial in nature, meaning no advertisements or staged photos.

> Winners will be notified by the end of August. Winners’ photos will be featured in the 2015 TIPH Calendar, and winners will receive a copy of the calendar. Winners will also have our permission to brag to all their friends on Facebook and Instagram. Don’t forget to tag us at @thisispublichealth, and use the hashtags #TIPH and #ThisisPublicHealth.

> Photo specifications:    
>       Each photograph must be high resolution (300dpi or higher) digital format. All photograph submissions must be10 x 8 inches or 3000 x 2400 pixels and must be in JPEG or JPG format. No print or film submissions will be accepted for entry into this contest, but scans of negatives or transparencies are acceptable. Photographs that fail to meet these specifications will automatically be disqualified.

> Here are some tips to help you:
>       Please no heavily filtered or square Instagram photographs, all submissions must be rectangular
