Summary:<br>
Develop, coordinate, disseminate and evaluate educational resources for families and providers. Assess, plan, design, implement and evaluate health education programs and services for patients and families, community families and/or providers based on hospital and Family Resource Center goals, strategic initiatives and community needs. Consult and collaborate with clinicians and other stakeholders to plan and create patient education resources based on assessed needs. Provide direct support for patient families and visitors, Children's staff, and individuals and professionals from the community.<br>

Requirements:<br>
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Public Health or related field.<br>
- Minimum three years experience in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of health education programs. (If Master’s degreed, only require one year previous experience.)<br>
<br>
Preferred:<br>
- Master’s degree in Health Education, Public Health, or related field.<br>
- Experience in the health care field or social service industry. Experience working with resource libraries and development of patient education materials.<br>
- Previous experience working in a hospital environment<br>
- Certified Health Education Specialist.<br>
- Comfort and experience in working with people from diverse cultures and with limited English skills.<br>
- Bilingual in Spanish.<br>
