<p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:13px">Obesity is one of public health’s top priorities. A growing body of evidence links community design and environmental factors with obesity. To support obesity studies and inform prevention efforts, Oregon Environmental Public Health Tracking (EPHT) is publishing weight status data calculated from driver’s license and identification cards issued by Driver and Motor Vehicles Services (DMV). With over 3.5 million records containing address information, this rich data source can provide precise weight estimates for areas as small as census block groups.</span> </p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:13px">Please join Oregon EPHT and presenter Daniel Morris, MS, PhD, on May 9th as we examine DMV records as a resource for tracking the weight of the population and present maps that will soon be accessible on the EPHT Data Portal.</span> </p>

The multi-part, multiplatform series debuts in May, exclusively on HBO. The centerpiece of THE WEIGHT OF THE NATION is the four-part documentary series, featuring case studies and interviews with leading experts and with individuals and families struggling with obesity.</span> </p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:13px">The four-part series debuts MONDAY, MAY 14 and TUESDAY, MAY 15, on HBO, with two films airing back-to-back each night. The three-part HBO Family series debuts WEDNESDAY, MAY 16.</span> </p>
