deadline to submit a proposal for the Oregon Public Health Association
invites proposals for our 68th Annual Conference & Meeting is this
Monday, June 25th. The conference will be held in Corvallis, Oregon on
October 8 & 9 2012. OPHA 2012 will be jointly held with the Oregon
Environmental Health Association (OEHA) and feature scores of posters,
sessions, networking opportunities, exhibits and a keynote speech by Dr.
Richard Jackson.</span><span style="font-size:7.5pt;font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif""></span></p><p style="text-align:-webkit-auto;word-spacing:0px"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Abstracts
addressing all public health topics are welcome and may be submitted

presentations are 15 minutes in length and are grouped according to
theme into a single session that is 1 hour 15 minutes in length.
Normally there are three 15 minute oral presentations per session
allowing 30 minutes for questions and discussion.</span><span style="font-size:7.5pt;font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif""></span></p><p style="text-align:-webkit-auto;word-spacing:0px"><strong><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Panel Discussion:</span></strong><span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif""> </span></span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Panel
discussions are 1 hour 15 minutes in length, including time for
questions. Due to time constraints only a limited number of panel
discussions will be accepted and offered at the conference.</span><span style="font-size:7.5pt;font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif""></span></p><p style="text-align:-webkit-auto;word-spacing:0px"><strong><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Poster:</span></strong><span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif""> </span></span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Posters
are visual presentations displayed on 4’ x 8’ bulletin boards. During
the Poster Session, presenters stand next to their displays to explain
content and answer questions. The poster session is scheduled for
