<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">I just read some sad news in this newsletter - Len Doaks of (Len and Ceci Doaks) recently passed away. As many of you know, the Doaks were the pioneers and catalysts
for the field of health literacy. I remember a workshop the Health Ed Section of OPHA sponsored in mid-1990 with the Doaks. It was one of the most well attended workshops, and it was such an honor to meet them. I still have their book -

</i>and it is still considered the bible of health literacy. If you've never heard of - gasp - or read any of their works, I encourage you do to so. They were an amazing duo.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
