we can best influence our immediate audience. Whether it’s our
patients, students, or employees, we all need to work together to create
sustainable avenues toward a more healthy population.
<p>This event will provide <strong>active</strong> opportunities to meet
others in the community who, like you, want to create a positive,
healthy future. You will meet other professionals who have successfully
created lasting and sustainable changes within our schools and
workplaces — and within themselves!</p>
<p>Unlike a traditional “sit and listen” conference, <strong>An Ounce of Prevention</strong>
is about active collaboration. Collaborating with your community means
just that: coming together with clinicians, nurses, medical assistants,
teachers and employers to help patients, students, employees and
yourself make those incremental changes our society needs to get up and
