Here are some of the specifics about this position:<br>

The responsibility of this position is to manage immunization health<br>
promotion and education work, including quality improvement projects, to<br>
increase immunization rates and prevent disease across the lifespan. This<br>
includes overseeing development of health promotion materials; health<br>
promotion and health education technical assistance, and immunization<br>
initiatives for children, teens and adults. It also requires developing and<br>
maintaining strong working relationships with other agency programs, state<br>
agencies and community partners. This ensures that the public, providers,<br>
and key stakeholders have accurate information about immunizations and<br>
children's health so they can make informed health decisions.<br>

Required Qualifications<br>
<br>
Note: Experience may have been gained concurrently.<br>
<br>
* A Bachelor's degree or higher in Public Health, Health<br>
Communications, Health Education, Health Promotion, social or behavioral<br>
science, or closely allied field.<br>
* Five (5) or more years (full-time equivalency) experience serving as<br>
a team or project lead for a project that included developing work plans,<br>
setting direction for work, coordinating work among team members, monitoring<br>
performance, and giving feedback to team members.<br>
