<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto">The Precede-Proceed model is a framework that helps health program planners, policy makers and educators analyze the situation and design health programs efficiently. This established, multidimensional model
involves an “educational diagnosis” and an “ecological diagnosis” and is founded in the social/behavioral sciences, epidemiology and education.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto">Dr. Green will identify features of the model that are designed to assure a good match between the program plan and the context of the populations for whom it is designed, as well as some of the implementation
problems of the evidence-based practice movement that would be addressed by the model. Then both he and his wife, Dr. Judith Ottoson, will field your questions with a particular focus on what health educators and others “in the trenches” want and need to know
