Inc. (NCHEC) and the Society for Public Health Education
(SOPHE) have launched the next <i>Health Education Specialist Practice Analysis (HESPA).</i><span style="background:none repeat scroll 0% 0% white"> Leading this research is Pro Exam, a professional examination services firm contracted by NCHEC.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><i><span style="font-size:12pt"> </span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span style="font-size:12pt">The purpose of the HESPA is to further validate the contemporary practice of entry- and advanced-level health education specialists and further shape the blueprint for their credentialing.<span>
Drs. Jim McKenzie and Dixie Dennis are leading the research, with extensive input from a 12-member Advisory Committee that began meeting earlier this year. It is anticipated that the HESPA data will be collected and analyzed in 2014 and the results released
in 2015.</span></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span style="font-size:12pt"><span><br></span></span></p>
