Dr. Pitonyak will share results from a study describing characteristics of
women who initiated exclusive breastfeeding -- examining socio-demographic,
work, and child care factors with continued exclusive breastfeeding. The study
used data from the Infant Feeding Practices Study II and used the Life Course
Health Development framework for analysis. The presenter and audience will
discuss program and policy initiatives that may lessen disparities in
breastfeeding and support family health development.<br>
