<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt"><strong><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"">Primary Duties</span></strong><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"">This position will serve as the Health Services Consultant Specialist to the Center for Public Affairs Executive. This position is the designated assistant for planning, policy development,
designing, and implementing all aspects of the Center for Public Affairs. The position will also serve as a health education and health promotion resource for the agency during the planning and implementation phases of the Center for Public Affairs.<br>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"">Duties include:</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"">• Responsible for project planning and implementation.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"">• Leads the process to develop tools for Center projects and other materials.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif""><br>
• Provides consultation and training on health promotion, health education, and health communication for the Center and agency staff.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"">• Researches current, effective program strategies and interventions.<br>
</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"">• Determines, conducts, and analyzes audience research.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif""><br>
• Represents the Center in various meetings or conferences at the local, state or national level.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"">Required Qualifications</span></strong><b><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif""><br>

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Health Communication, Community Health, Health Promotion or a closely related field.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif""><br>
• Three (3) or more years (full-time equivalency) of experience in health promotion and project planning.<br>
<br>
• One (1) or more years experience managing complex projects; experience must include two or more project team members.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"">• Demonstrated experience working on multi-disciplinary teams.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif""><br>
• Demonstrated experience applying quality improvement tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall quality.</span><o:p></o:p></p>

<strong><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"">Desired Qualifications</span></strong><br>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"">• A Master’s degree or higher in Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration or closely allied field.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif""><br>
• One (1) or more years (full-time equivalency) of health promotion, project planning and quality improvement experience in a health services program.<br>
<br>
• Demonstrated experience with communication and marketing.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"">• Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).</span><o:p></o:p></p>
