Hello Coordinators,
It seems like the only constant in life is change. Thank you for bearing with us through all the transitions going on in our division and health care delivery systems. There are several staffing changes at HPCDP that we would like to share with you.
× Luci Longoria is currently working in a job rotation as the interim section manager for HPCDP. This is a six-month job rotation. During this time, Luci will provide support to HPCDP managers, assure continuity in coordination and establishing the Center for Prevention and Health Promotion, and recruit for a permanent section manager.
× Kati Moseley has stepped into fill a six-month job rotation as the community programs lead. During this time, Kati will be supporting liaisons and assuring continuity in HPCDP's relationships with county grantees, tribal grantees and regional equity coalitions.
× Andrew Epstein has moved into the diabetes coordinator position. Andrew started work on August 1, 2012, and will be a liaison to counties and tribes as well as working on diabetes specific activities and projects for the section. More details will be sent to counties and tribes who will be working with Andrew in his new role.
× Leah Fisher joins HPCDP today, August 13, as a temporary staff member. Because there will be a number of liaisons out of the office at various times this fall, HPCDP hired Leah to assure that we have sufficient staff to continue to provide support to all the various project, meeting and initiatives taking place this fall. Leah has a background in planning, and is pursuing her MPH at Portland State University.
× Rebecca Pawlak has moved into the wellness at work coordinator position, and will begin work on August 15. There is so much great work going on in worksite wellness and Rebecca will be a fantastic addition to continue to assure that counties and tribes get timely support in this work area.
× Cinzia Romoli re-joined HPCDP as the health equity systems coordinator on August 1 (the position formerly known as TCIP Coordinator) and will be coordinating the Cross Agency Health Improvement Project initiatives (formerly the Tobacco Control Integration Project).
× Sarah Bartelmann starts a new job rotation in the Office of Health Policy Research on August 20. During this relatively brief job rotation, Cara Railsback will be sending you quit line reports and updates.
Whew! Thank you, and please be in touch with any questions you have.
