Subject: FY 2012 Request for Applications for Tribal Tobacco Prevention and Education Program grants now available
Hello tribal partners ~
Hope you are well!
I'm pleased to announce that the new Request for Applications for Tribal Tobacco Prevention and Education Programs (TPEP), which provides guidance for the development of Tribal TPEP local plans of action and budgets for the July 2012 - June 2013 fiscal period, is now posted to the HPCDP Connection website at: www.healthoregon.org/hpcdpconnection/<http://www.healthoregon.org/hpcdpconnection/> Look under the "frequently Used Documents" to find the link to the "RFAs & RFPs."
Note that the log in and password are:
Login: HPCDP
Password: Communities12
Both the log in and password are case sensitive.
We will post this notice to the Tribal TPEP coordinator listserv by close of business today.
All federally-recognized tribes and confederated tribes in Oregon are eligible to submit Local Plans of Action and Budgets in response to this RFA. Applications are due March 5, 2012. Please let your HPCDP liaison know if you have any questions. The RFA will be the core topic of our upcoming training swing - please encourage your staff to come with questions and ideas. I plan to attend the February SB 770 meeting to answer questions about this RFA, as well.
We are honored to be able to continue our partnership in tobacco prevention with tribes in Oregon. Thank you in advance for your continued leadership!
