[HealthyTribes] Tobacco-free State Properties Update

Hello grantees -

As you know, we are currently assisting state agencies with the implementation of the Tobacco-free State Properties Executive Order. During the September TPEP TA calls we provided an update and noted we would keep you informed. Work on the Tobacco-Free State Properties Initiative is continuing to go smoothly. Since your last update:

- PHD staff continue to meet with a Communications Committee to field incoming questions and update the FAQ sheet on the website. PHD developed a E-cigarette Fact Sheet which will be posted online soon.

- PHD staff presented to a meeting of agency Human Resource Directors. The meeting was very positive, with questions mostly focused on enforcement issues.

- Communication materials were developed for agencies to begin posting in their worksites. Materials includes a flyer, posters and a script card for employees to use when talking about the policy. - The Department of Administrative Services is convening a workgroup of agencies with public lands to discuss consistent policy implementation.
