Bob Gordon and Maura Kennelly will share their experiences and lessons learned around reducing access to tobacco products and sugary beverages in San Francisco and New York City.
Bob Gordon, MPH, serves as Project Director for the California LGBT Tobacco Education Partnership, a project of the California Department of Public Health, currently focusing on tobacco-free pharmacy policies and working with individual elected officials to counteract tobacco industry influence. Bob also coordinates marketing and outreach for The Last Drag, a San Francisco-based smoking cessation class for LGBT & HIV+ smokers in addition to being a trained facilitator. Bob is a graduate of the University of Maine with a degree in Business Administration. In May of 2011, he was selected to receive the Graduate Student for Distinguished Achievement, earning his Master of Public Health degree from San Francisco State University.
