Dear Coordinators,

In 2010 and 2011, the Public Health Division conducted a survey among Oregon adults called the Oregon Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) Race Oversample 2010-2011. The survey was about population health. The goal was to collect information from a large enough number of respondents to be able to analyze certain chronic diseases and health risk factors by race and ethnicity.

Results from this survey are now available in a series of five web tables. They are available at: http://public.health.oregon.gov/DiseasesConditions/ChronicDisease/Pages/pubs.aspx#race

This is one of many ways these data will be used in the coming years. We hope you find the information useful to your work. Please let us know what you think. Sincerely, Stacey
