[HealthyTribes] New Spanish language Quit Line number

Grantees,

I wanted to inform you that Oregon will be rolling out the new national number for the Spanish language Quit Line, 1-855-DEJELO-YA (1-855-335356-92).

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the National Cancer Institute (NCI) have launched the new national Spanish portal.  Upon calling DEJELO-YA, Spanish-speaking participants will be greeted in Spanish by a Registration Intake Specialist and will be transferred to a Spanish speaking Quit Coach. Promotion of this new Spanish Portal should help bring more national traffic to the Spanish language Oregon Tobacco Quit Line.

Please note that the 1-800-2NO-FUME line will continue to link to the Spanish language Quit Line now and in the future. In the meantime, HPCDP is in the process of rebranding websites and electronic versions of Spanish language promotional materials to reflect the change to 1-855-DEJELO-YA.
