**This email is being sent to all WIC and BF Coordinators**

We are very excited to send you the summary of the creative and innovative projects that local agency WIC and Healthy Communities staff developed and implemented with the 2011 Breastfeeding Bonus funds Oregon received.  The summary includes a brief description of each project, a special highlight section featuring four projects that had impacts across the state and even nationally, and a listing of contacts for each project if you would like to know more or consider implementing a similar effort in your community. There is also a map showing the distribution of the different focus areas for the projects around the state.

Special thanks go to Diane Garrett for coordinating this project, and Becky Seel and the State BF Team for compiling the project summaries and evaluations and putting these together into this summary report. It will be posted soon on the Oregon WIC website and is also featured in the upcoming 2012 WIC Annual Report.
