Hello Coordinators,
Attached is a spreadsheet with information we have collected so far from you for the SmokeFree Oregon website. Please take a look and see if I have accurately represented the information you have sent. For those who have not sent in info yet, this is a friendly reminder to do so. Please send the information to me at Holly.Heiberg at state.or.us<mailto:Holly.Heiberg at state.or.us>
I will not be in the office next week but will be forwarding your information so that the website development can continue. Here is the info we would like you to submit:
* Contact Information
o Full and last name
o Title
o Email address and/or phone number - whichever you're comfortable us posting as public information
o Photo of yourself and a couple sentences to use as a quote about why you dedicate some of your work on reducing the harmful impacts of tobacco in your community
* If possible, a 15-20 second video clip of you stating why you dedicate some of your work on reducing the harmful impacts of tobacco in your community - We will post any that we have been submitted by 6/23 for the initial launch date, others will be added after that point
o A sample video is below:

Here are some suggestions from Coates Kokes for creating a grantee / community health representative video for the upcoming SmokefreeOregon website:
* Tell the audience who you are and perhaps something about your connection to the local community.
* How long you've lived there; something that gives context for you as a member of that community.
* Describe why the cause of tobacco prevention and education matters to you.
* Maybe offer a thought or two about what you're hoping these efforts will do for your community.
* Describe how the impact of tobacco specifically affects your community or something that's unique about the fight against tobacco in your community.
* If there's a particular success you or your county health department or tribe have had in this work please describe that briefly for us.
* If you have a personal anecdote or story to share from an engagement you've had doing this work in your community feel free to provide that as well.
* Have someone videotape you addressing the points above and anything else you want to add (if there's something you want to leave out, that's OK too.)
* Shoot some "B-roll" of the community area including anything that makes particular sense with what you are describing.
* You can send still pictures instead of "B-roll" if you'd rather.
* We're looking for finished videos to be about 90 seconds, but we find that often we shoot about 3-4 times that much footage to have good material to work with.
* You can either edit the footage down to something close to the 90 seconds yourself, or send us the clips and we'll put it together for you.
* Do take care to make sure the video is recorded such that the audio is clear and easy to understand without a lot of distracting background noise.
* If shooting this on a phone or mobile device, please make sure to use a horizontal orientation rather than a vertical one.
* Please send uncompressed video files via Dropbox or some similar method.
