Hello all,

We are pleased to share this Save the Date flyer for the 3rd Place Matters conference in Portland, November 19-21, 2014. It's Oregon's chronic disease prevention conference sponsored by the Oregon Health Authority, Center for Prevention and Health Promotion. Watch for the agenda and registration link at https://public.health.oregon.gov/DiseasesConditions/ChronicDisease/Pages/index.aspx this summer. The registration fee is expected to be $50, and $25 for students and seniors.

Please share this flyer widely with colleagues and community partners who may be interested in the conference. This is a perfect opportunity to connect your community coalitions with inspiring and exciting information about how they can work with you to make a difference in chronic diseases in your community.

For you, our grantees: to make your travel time as efficient as possible, we are scheduling ancillary meetings to Place Matters. Grantees and Contractors will happen the afternoon of May 21st. We are also developing pre-meetings on the morning of November 19 that will be important for many of you. More information about these meetings will be shared as it is developed. Please plan to be in Portland for the full three days for these events.

Thanks and I look forward to seeing you all in person,

Sabrina
