Hi Everyone,
We're looking forward to seeing you at Place Matters next week!
For anyone who has not yet registered:
* Online registration closes on November 12th, so please register before that date: http://www.placemattersoregon.com/
* On-site registration will be available at the conference, but meals will not be available for those who haven't pre-registered.
* All hotel rooms at the conference location (Hilton Portland Downtown) have been booked. Anyone who has not yet booked a hotel will need to do so themselves at another hotel.
For all who are already registered, or who plan to register:
* Our event planner, the Beatty Group, will send out individual email reminders stating what people are registered for, including times and locations.
* The pre-conference meet and greet networking event on Tuesday 11/18, 5:30-8:30pm (listed on the agenda as being open only for Self-Management Forum attendees), is now open to anyone who will be attending an ancillary session on Wednesday morning. If you are interested in attending the this event, and haven't already signed up for it, please contact susan.m.miles at state.or.us<mailto:susan.m.miles at state.or.us> and she will have your registration amended to include this event.
* The Tobacco-Free Properties Policy Evaluation in Counties (ToPPEC) training, 8:30-11:30am on Wed. 11/19 is required for all County TPEP Coordinators. It will be held at the Portland State Office Building, 800 NE Oregon St., in conference room 1B (NOTE: this is a different location than the Place Matters Conference. TriMet MAX has stops near both the Hilton and Portland State Office Building. Go to www.trimet.org<http://www.trimet.org> for trip planning assistance if needed).
* The Place Matters conference and other ancillary sessions, including the Friday afternoon HPCDP Grantees and Contractors meeting, will be at the Portland Hilton Downtown.
If you have any questions related to Place Matters, please contact your HPCDP liaison. Safe travels and see you soon!
Thanks,
Andrew
