 Good Day Everyone!

CADCA is pleased to announce a new opportunity for coalitions working in tobacco prevention. This year at the 2015 National Forum, we will host a Tobacco Prevention Leaders Panel to highlight the prevention work of four coalitions from around the country. Those selected for the panel will receive a scholarship to cover Forum registration. If you are interested, read below for more details.

Overview: Forum 2015 serves as the 25th Anniversary National Leadership Forum<http://www.mmsend36.com/link.cfm?r=1833031252&sid=52794382&m=6847224&u=CADCA&j=21961364&s=http://forum.cadca.org/> and includes SAMHSA's 11th Prevention Day. This training is the premier and largest training conference for community-based substance abuse prevention professionals, coalition leaders and prevention and addiction researchers. The Forum is a four-day event packed with opportunities to learn the latest strategies to fight substance abuse and hear from nationally-known prevention experts, federal administrators and concerned policymakers. The Forum is hosted at the Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center in National Harbor, MD.

Panel: If you have expertise or success stories in the field of tobacco control that you would like to share with your peers, please submit an abstract. Presenters should be prepared to deliver a dynamic session (15-20 minutes) that will provide other coalition leaders the information, skills, and/or strategies they need to implement successful tobacco prevention and control programs in their local communities.

Notification of acceptance will be sent out by October 10th. We will select four coalition leaders to share their tobacco prevention work on the Tobacco Prevention Leaders Panel and each will receive a scholarship to cover Forum registration.
