Coordinators,

The TPEP RFA has been released and is now available on HPCDP Connection. The deadline to apply is March 27th, 2015. Please refer to the Application Timeline in the RFA for other important dates. Please follow the link below to learn more: https://partners.health.oregon.gov/Partners/HPCDPConnection/Pages/index.aspx Username: HPCDP; Password: Communities12 (both are case sensitive)

To support grantees in the development of workplans, this year's regional training (Spring Swing) will focus on the development of communication strategies for Tribes and Counties. Additionally, County TPEPs will receive the results of the Community Readiness Assessment and consider how to use the results for planning purposes. Please come prepared to the Swing with a draft Program Plan and any questions you have. Please register for this required event as soon as possible using this link: http://beattygroup.cvent.com/d/zrqk2f. County participants are invited to attend the location that is most convenient (other than Klamath Falls). Tribal participants only are invited to participate in the Klamath Falls location as this training will be specifically tailored to the work of tribal TPEPs.

Participants needing hotel reservations will be responsible for making their own reservation and paying for the charges. There are rooms set aside for Spring Swing attendees. When participants call to make room reservations, please state that you are reserving your room under the Spring Swing room block.

For Tribal TPEPs, the required regional training will take place in Klamath Falls and be followed the next day by the tribal in-person training provided by Lou Moerner from California. These arrangements were made to efficiently use your travel time allowing you to participate in both events. If you have not yet registered for this in-person training, please do so here: http://beattygroup.cvent.com/d/j4q4tn.

HPCDP Connection has been updated with new and streamlined resources. These will be helpful in writing responses to the applications and in accomplishing current work.

This is a non-competitive application so we encourage questions. Please contact your liaison directly for assistance. Attached is a copy of the announcement that is being distributed to Tribal and County Administrators about this opportunity.

Thank you,
Sabrina
