You are being sent this notice because the Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention (HPCDP) Section, has identified you as a potentially interested applicant in response to a currently open Request for Grant Applications (RFGA) titled: "Strategies for Policy And enviRonmental Change, Tobacco-Free (SPArC Tobacco-Free)". The RFGA is now posted and currently open for applications and can be accessed through the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN) website: http://orpin.oregon.gov/open.dll/welcome.

To view the opportunity on ORPIN and then download what is needed to submit an application, you must:

*        first either register on the ORPIN system (if you are not already registered), then

*        use the login procedure provided.

Once you are logged in you will need to:

*        "express interest" in the RFGA in order to download the formal solicitation document which will include:

o   a detailed description of the services that are needed

o   the procurement process OHA is using and

o   the steps you must follow when submitting an application.

The Oregon Department of Administrative Services (DAS) maintains the ORPIN system and offers online help with registration or any other ORPIN-related issues by clicking on the "help desk" link provided on the website. For assistance with ORPIN-related technical problems or other assistance, please contact the ORPIN help desk using the email address link provided or simply call ORPIN support at (503) 378-4642.

All communications with OHA concerning this RFGA must be directed in writing to the Single Point of Contact (SPC) for this Solicitation (contact information below). Any unauthorized contact regarding this RFGA with other State employees or officials may result in rejection of application. Any oral communications will be considered unofficial and non-binding. The ORPIN system will be used to distribute all information regarding this RFGA.
