Pharmacies are a trusted source of health information and services. Yet in 2016, 53,566 pharmacies still sell tobacco -- the number one preventable cause of death in the US.

Background:
Walgreens' shareholders have built momentum encouraging Walgreens to be the next major pharmacy retailer to remove tobacco products from its shelves. On January 26th Walgreens is holding its next shareholder meeting, we're hopeful that a resolution to assess risks of selling tobacco will be introduced.
