The Oregon Health Authority, Public Health Division, Health Promotion & Chronic Disease Prevention (HPCDP) Section<http://www.oregon.gov/oha/PH/DiseasesConditions/ChronicDisease/Pages/Program-Information.aspx> is recruiting for a business savvy, policy and program development expert with demonstrated strategic leadership skills to fill the position of Worksite Wellness Coordinator for HPCDP in Portland, OR. This position provides strategic leadership, direction, coordination, oversight and management for worksite wellness associated policy and program initiatives consistent with the mission, strategic priorities and policies of OHA.
What will you do?
You will lead, coordinate and provide alignment for worksite wellness initiatives throughout the agency, DHS and private sector partners. You will evaluate and recommend program priorities to achieve state program goals or to meet funding requirements relating to tobacco, physical activity, nutrition and chronic disease self-management. You will develop and maintain relationships with members of local, state and national agencies, community organizations and various stakeholders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to Public Health; AND four years of experience coordinating or administering a program related to Public Health.
OR
Any combination of experience or education equivalent to seven years of experience coordinating or administering a program related to Public Health.
