Hello Community Partners,

Please see the grant opportunity below:

AARP Community Challenge "Quick Action" Grant Program.

In 2017, AARP launched the first AARP Community Challenge and funded 88 efforts across all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Those projects improved housing, public spaces, transportation, and more. This initiative is an important part of AARP's work on livable communities, in which we support the efforts of neighborhoods, towns, cities and counties nationwide to become great places for residents of all ages.

Applications will be accepted until 5 pm ET, May 16, 2018. Projects must be completed by November 5, 2018. To learn more, see examples of previous funded projects, and apply, please visit www.AARP.org/CommunityChallenge<http://www.AARP.org/CommunityChallenge>. The program is open to 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), 501(c)(6) nonprofits, government entities, and other organizations that will be evaluated on a case by case basis.

For more information, please visit www.AARP.org/CommunityChallenge<http://www.AARP.org/CommunityChallenge>. Please share this opportunity with your network, and apply if you have a project that fits. Please email any questions to communitychallenge at aarp.org<mailto:communitychallenge at aarp.org>.
