[HealthyTribes] Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla pass T21!

Congratulations to the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla for passing T21 last month!  The CTUIR took this action to reduce the use of commercial tobacco products to improve the health of the Tribal community.  Oregon law does not apply to Oregon tribes because they are sovereign nations.  The resolution that was approved by the Board of Trustees on January 22nd includes Wildhorse Resort & Casino.   Violation of the code will be punishable by a fine of not more than $250 per violation.  It excludes purchase or use of tobacco for traditional, religious or ceremonial purposes.
