[HealthyTribes] Tribal ATOD Specialist Interview - invitation to participate

Greetings Tribal ADPEP and TPEP Programs

The OHA-PHD, Health Promotion & Chronic Disease Prevention (HPCDP) section is in the process of recruiting a Tribal Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug (ATOD) Policy Specialist. This position will provide strategic leadership and direction for American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) tribal and urban program initiatives and policy, system and environmental change strategies for prevention and health promotion. The position will support relationships with tribes, AI/AN serving organizations, the public, community partners, and other related health promotion programs.

HPCDP  invites volunteers from Tribal ADPEP and TPEP programs to participate in this important hiring process.

We hope to have different Tribes and organizations represented at each stage of the process to diversify perspectives. Please note that OHA will make the decisions at each stage about who to bring forward into the next stage; these decisions will be informed by the interview panel recommendations for each particular stage.

Interview Timeline
Stage 1 - Video interviews: June 3rd - June 11th
Stage 2 - Phone interviews: June 17th - June 27th
Stage 3 - In Person interviews: July 8th - July 12th

If you are interested in volunteering, please obtain approval from your Tribal Health Administrator and reply to ashley.thirstrup at state.or.us<mailto:ashley.thirstrup at state.or.us> by Friday May 17th with your interest and availability for each of the stages above. Please note that volunteers will need to participate in the panel for every interview within a particular stage, with an estimated time commitment of six hours per stage.
