Good afternoon, all -

I hope this email finds you well. Over the past month, there's been a lot of conversation in our communities and the media about the health risks of e-cigarette use in connection with severe lung disease related to vaping. I wanted to share a little round-up of e-cigarette communications resources.

Many of these you have seen before but have been updated with new information; others are new and have been developed with this outbreak in mind. Please let me or Shaun Parkman (shaun.w.parkman at state.or.us<mailto:shaun.w.parkman at state.or.us>) know if you have any questions or would like assistance adapting these for your communities. I would especially recommend sharing these resources with education partners who will be concerned about the risks for the young people they serve.

As an FYI, the Oregon Health Authority has activated an Incident Management Team for the recent vaping-related illness. Please follow OHA on Facebook<http://www.facebook.com/OregonHealthAuthority>, Twitter<https://twitter.com/OHAOregon>, or via press releases<https://www.oregon.gov/OHA/ERD/Pages/News-Releases.aspx> for updates, social media messages, and graphics to share in your communities.

All the best,
Sarah
