HPCDP invites you to participate in several training and collaboration opportunities during February/early March.  Please see below and add to your calendars, as applicable:


  1.  Legislative updates (calls)



When: February 4th, February 18th and March 3rd     1:00 - 1:30pm



Description: This will be a time to update ADPEP, TPEP and RHEC grantees about bills that HPCDP is tracking during the short legislative session.  TPEP, ADPEP and RHEC grantees will have time to share information about potential community impacts of bills.

  1.  Movement Building Training (webinar)



When: Tuesday, February 4th from 2:00-3:00pm



Description: The webinar will walk through the core elements of movement building and then dive into strategies you can use to help build a Smokefree Oregon movement. It will be interactive and build on your existing communication plans, exploring opportunities for engaging community members in your work to advance your policy priorities. The webinar will be facilitated by Beth Strachan and Olivia Stone from Metropolitan Group.

  1.  Finding, using and requesting data support from HPCDP (webinar)



When: February 19th from 2:00-3:00 pm



Description:

  *   Learn about the data resources available from HPCDP, including a demonstration of the new interactive Chronic Conditions Data Portal;
  *   Discover connections to other data resources;
  *   Receive guidance on how to request data from HPCDP to support your activities.
