Hello Tribal TPEP,
It's getting chilly and dark - I hope you and yours are staying warm and embracing soft lighting and candles.

Question of the Month
Welcome to this new portion of the digest! Every month we will be sharing an opportunity to problem solve individually and collectively. We're hoping to bring this question to our monthly meeting to check in, brainstorm, and creatively work together. Let us know what you think about this or if you've had a question you've been pondering!
Within our current context, rebuilding community trust and opportunities for collaboration can feel challenging. What have you done or what are you planning to do to reenter community, build trust, and continue your work in tobacco prevention?
OHA Updates (return to top)
Local Cessation Resources Project
This project was discussed at our last monthly TPEP meeting. As part of the TPEP RFA, TPEP Coordinators provide updated lists of local cessation resources to HPCDP twice a year. These resources are shared with Optum who works with people to quit tobacco and build self-efficacy. This list has not been updated since 2019. We will be providing a resource to update this information in the start of 2022. If you have feedback and/or best practices you have used to update local cessation information, please contact emily.droge at dhsoha.state.or.us<mailto:emily.droge at dhsoha.state.or.us> by December 6, 2021.
