It’s almost April! Can you believe it? Walking around to find all the new flowers and greenery popping up every day have certainly given me energy to take on the stress of the moment. What has given you joy this week?

April is the 1 year anniversary of Smokefree Oregon’s Instagram account. I hope the content and channel have been useful, or at least fun, for you. Training Opportunity: We are hosting a media advocacy webinar with our Tobacco Communications TA provider, Metropolitan Group, on April 18 from 11am-12pm. We’ll be walking through the NEW “Tobacco Prevention Key Messages” and “Media Advocacy for TPEP Grantees” guides, sharing tips and guidance while offering real-world examples. There will also be an opportunity for role playing (i.e. mock media pitching and interviewing) so you can practice honing your media relations skills using the key messages in the guide.
