Attached are slides and companion fact sheet with talking points, both as PDFs, for your use in communicating these results with stakeholders and partners in your communities. We have synthesized the information and provided top-line, key message statements for each policy area to use in your communications. We then provided sub bullets should you want, or are asked, to provide more detail.

Please take special note of slide 25 of the PowerPoint and page 4 of the fact sheet that discuss the best ways to share this information. We are not pro-actively promoting the entire poll's results. In other words, we are not -- nor would we recommend -- specifically citing or actively pitching the results in any media materials. Instead, we hope you'll use the information to help validate choices you recently made in workplans you've proposed for best practice objectives (BPOs), help you rethink or strengthen your choices, and get you thinking about how the message points inform your tactics/activities for BPOs. Once you've solidified your BPOs, we hope you'll find the persuasive message points about Oregonians' support for these policy areas helpful in your advocacy work.

We will be scheduling an optional training call in the next couple weeks to walk through the results and answer any questions you might have. If you have any questions in the meantime, though, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your great work in shifting Oregonians' attitudes so favorably around tobacco prevention and education policies.
