<DIV>I wanted to make you aware of some national media coverage of the smoking cessation drug Chantix that you could get calls on from local media outlets. Here are a couple stories:</DIV>

<DIV>In short, a Canadian medical journal report released Monday found that the popular drug has been linked to an increased risk for heart attack, stroke and other serious cardiovascular events among smokers without a history of heart disease. The article is based on what's called a "meta-analysis" of numerous random, blinded, placebo-controlled clinical trials that tracked cardiovascular outcomes. </DIV>
