Dear grantees and partners,

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. To leverage this opportunity and the success we’ve seen with local storytelling, we are going to be featuring a “face of CRC” every day of March via the website and Facebook.

We need your help identifying these storytellers. Please think of people in your local communities who might be a good fit. Stories can range from someone who gets screened regularly just because he/she believes it’s the right thing to do to someone who has
survived the cancer to someone who lost a loved one to CRC.

Please email Kiernan Doherty at kdoherty@metgroup.com with the names and contact information of possible storytellers
by Monday, Feb. 20 if possible; by Monday, Feb 27 at the latest. Metropolitan Group will reach out to spokespeople and work directly with them to draft a story, which you can then share with local media/partners to promote your Healthy Communities
and CRC work.

This is an optional activity for both TPEP and Healthy Communities coordinators and we encourage everyone to participate so that all of your communities are represented and we have as wide of reach as possible. Please let either Sabrina or Kiernan know if you
have any questions.

Thank you for your continued support of this campaign!
