<p class="MsoNormal">I have to share a fortuitous outcome of networking: Anne Shane, the Director of the Coquille Indian Housing Authority (she is quoted in the piece) had the brilliant idea of asking Thane Crozier, the Safety Services Specialist for the AMERIND
Risk Management Corporation to give a fire prevention quote. Apparently Amerind insures most of the tribal housing authorities in the US. After sharing a quote for the piece, he and his company plan to include it with their Fire Prevention resource DVD
and their marketing team is going to include it with their quarterly newsletter that reaches over 400 Tribal H.A.s! It is so great when the agencies we work with hear the message from organizations they have an existing relationship with and trust for information.

<p class="MsoNormal">As many of you know, my TPEP contract to coordinate smokefree housing work is drawing to an end. My husband and I have sold our home, our cars, put our belongings in storage and we set off on Friday for India and then Thailand to work
on community service projects. I have loved this work and been thrilled to see the progress that we have all made together. It is just a matter of time before ALL tribal housing authorities have good no-smoking policies.<o:p></o:p></p>
