<p class="MsoNormal">The 50th Anniversary of the release of the 1964 Surgeon General' s Report on tobacco use and health(SGR) is January 11, 2014. This is a great opportunity to talk about the success of the Tobacco Education and Prevention Program, remind
Oregonians of the continued predatory practices of the tobacco industry, and reinforce first-of-the-year momentum for cessation. In addition, we’ve gathered together major Oregon media coverage from 1964 when the initial report was released. You will find
three message frames with talking points and the historical media coverage <u><a href="https://partners.health.oregon.gov/Partners/HPCDPConnection/Tobacco/Pages/TobaccoMedia.aspx">HERE on HPCDP Connectio</a>n</u>. <o:p></o:p></p>
