Background: In October 2011, the CDC began the National Healthy Worksite Program (NHWP). The NHWP is designed to assist employers in implementing science and practice-based prevention and health promotion strategies that will lead
to specific, measureable health outcomes to reduce chronic disease rates. CDC selected eight communities to participate in the program. Some HPCDP grantees and partners followed-along with the training series, as webinars were available to anyone.

Update: The website now includes all
